New Poser Users Help F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 4:33 pm)
New to Poser? Ask questions here for expert help!
The language Poser displays is based upon the serial number. Simply give up your number to SM and ask for one that activates Poser in English. They will check validity of your current activation. Blacklist your current serial and then issue a new one. Your current activation should be deactivated from the menu inside Poser before you start this process though or you may have to download everything all over again once a new number is issued.

Hi there! --sorry for the wall of text, I don't know how to format in this forum so everything I write is just a huge text-block :/ --
This is driving me nuts! I got Poser 11 in german, which already caught me kinda "off guard" because some translations sound rediculous; but the worst of all: Poser seems to have an automatic transation system integrated. I created face morphs on a model I've sculpted previously and gave those morphs english names, now everything is in german. At first glance this seems to be a minor problem. But I also tried adding morphs to an existing model before, creating a new morph group, naming them all in english and it got translated into german and the english "expressions" folder was merged with the german equivalent and there are several "smile" and "frown" and whatever sliders all -neatly- translated and I'm really sick of scrolling endlessly in search of the slider I need... Is there any way to either deactivate this translation or maybe even change the whole language? The option in the general preferences is greyed out, so I have no clue how to change the language.
