I downloaded several things but cannot get them to import to Daz studio. I tried moving the files to my Daz library but they won't import to the studio. They were figures and skins and some textures. I deleted everything to concentrate on a single file I will download from free stuff. Can someone please detail the procedure to get a file to a place I can move it to content library or smart content, in Daz.

What are the items? It will be easier to give steps if we can refer to the actual files and folders included. Also, are you using Windows or Mac?

In free stuff today, Leonardo, and Faces Fridge Magnets. I deleted all the other stuff to keep the Renderosity files to a minimum. Terms people are giving me don't appear in my Daz categories. I have thousands of files that work bought directly from daz but these files go nowhere. I seem to have two instances of the Daz 3D designation, one in downloads and another in Windows. Putting the files into the main Daz 3D category does nothing they appear by name but contain nothing.

Assuming you are using Windows

for Leonardo G2M you need to open the zip and copy the folders in the My Library folder into the content directory you wish to use - the Daz 3dStudioMy Library folder in your own Documents folder or the My Daz 3D Library folder in your public documents folder. When asked if you want to merge the folders say yes.

Similarly for the face magnets, the folders in Faces Fridge Magnets DAZ Studio need to go into your content directory and to be allowed to merge with the equivalent folders that are already there.

Once you have done that, and refreshed the folders in DS' Content Library pane (right-click menu) if it was open at the time, yoyu should be able to load the items from the Content Library pane>content folder you installed to, under props>Faces Fridge Magnets or (with Genesis 2 Male selected in the scene) under Presets>Characters>Dany66 for the leonardo character (which isn't, strictly, the right place but it will work).

I've updated the Faces Fridge Magnets. The textures were missing in the Daz Studio files, so please delete what you've got and re-download it. Sorry.

(When I tested it to see that all the files were there it was right after testing the Poser version and it was reading the textures from the Poser version instead of telling me that they couldn't be found. This time I fully deleted the Poser version from my runtime directory before testing the Daz version.)
