12 Days of Christmas Contest

Contest Opens: December 25th

Contest Ends: January 5th

Rules:

• Submit your Illustration Depicting that “Day” of the “12 Days of Christmas” based on the actual Lyrics

Example: The first entry will be….“On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me,

A partridge in a pear tree.”

• You can not submit an entry before the Day of that Christmas. December the 29th will be the fifth day of Christmas. So your submission for the fifth day of Christmas Must be submitted on the fifth day.

• Submission Dates:

Dec 25th 1st day: A partridge in a pear tree!

Dec 26th 2nd day: Two turtle doves,

Dec 27th 3rd day: Three French hens,

Dec 28th 4th day: Four calling birds,

Dec 29th 5th day: Five golden rings,

Dec 30th 6th day: Six geese a-laying,

Dec 31st 7th day: Seven swans a-swimming,

Jan 1st 8th day: Eight maids a-milking,

Jan 2nd 9th day: Nine ladies dancing,

Jan 3rd 10th day: Ten lords a-leaping,

Jan 4th 11th day: Eleven pipers piping,

Jan 5th 12th day: Twelve drummers drumming,

Prizes will vary!

Do you want us to follow the song, like 12 lords a leaping, eleven ladies dancing etc, on the respective day? or 1 of something the 1st day, 2 of something the 2nd day etc? Or just 12 Christmas images?

Excuse me,Miss ashleyvs. For example,"Dec 28th 4th day: Four calling birds",which if I submit my work that should be about 'Four calling birds'? And work should be lyrics but not image,anime,etc? We should help you to make a song then you can take this song to facebook? My explain is right? Thanks.

@atpo The contest is to illustrate the song on the correct days, not to write a song. So, for 'Four Calling Birds' you would post something to illustrate that verse.

Three French Hens!

Daz Studio Iray Render. I created the beret and neck scarves in Blender. Minor postwork in Photoshop to fix visible seams in hen textures.

Six geese a-laying... in the sun!

Daz Studio Iray render. Minor Photoshop postwork. I created the lounge chairs in Blender. And I had fun using dForce to drop all the towels (they were just simple planes.)

This one took me the longest to put together as I created the 3D model of the sandpiper myself from scratch in Blender.
