Our regular license does not allow for commercial use if the product is being redistributed as it would be in a game for instance. You can use the music "commercially" to create your own person website, or if you are doing work for someone and build their website for them..and they do not have access to the music files.
But if you are selling a game for instance, the music file would be part of the game that is being sold. So it would be part of the files that are redistributed and then would need the extended license to be "sold" as part of another product. The vendor is providing the Extended License, which shows that the files can be used in that manner, but only with the purchase of the extended license. The product created would be sold multiple times making it a commercial/mass produced use of the original music files.
Our standard license HERE says it cannot be used for mass productions.

I noticed the recent sales have a few music packs, and that these packs have a regular and extended license. What's the difference between these for music files? I know how the licenses work with 3D models, but I'm confused about audio products since the regular license already allows commercial use. What can you do with a sound/music product's extended license that you couldn't already do with the regular license?
