Animation Contest: The Gamer's Most Epic Cutscene Jun 18, 2018

Create & Animate the most epic cutscene to your very own imaginary game. Each player must also Design an Illustration of a game level. Cutscene: "Animation Short" a scene that develops the story line and is often shown on completion of a certain level, or when the player's character dies.

Deadline is August 27th. Afraid I haven't experimented enough with animations yet. I don't even know how to get a C8.5 movie render converted to MP4 format.

i use a free utility called mpeg stream, it uses the free quiktime. not sure if it runs without it. in ca i render to avi, then just open file, save as mp4 npt much help if you want to edit.

Digital Art Live is going to have a couple of events related to animation. Ivy Summers is going to be doing an intro to animation I Studio. The folks for a professional animated movie are going to give a webinar on their entire work process, from script writing, to asset accumulation, to production.

yeah, i have the sony acid ... well, it's magix now. i start with one of their royalty free musics and modify til i like it. mix some sound effects in

the secret lake clips i did has the sony stuff on it

The "Details" for each entry opens a screen with the large image at the top, the video below that with a "Play" button in the middle, and a "download" button at the bottom. Just hit the play button and it streams.

You're welcome, I wasn't expecting the streaming either based on past Rendo contests, but it's nice. I also spent some time looking for the "Vote" buttons before I realized the Rendo staff is doing the judging ... :pencil3:
