Subject: Interesting find at the Dollar Tree! CG related.

So I was at the Dollar Tree today to purchase razors and shaving cream (I get a pack of 10 disposable razors for 1$... you can't beat that.) and I found this in the book section. "The Art of Watchdogs." If you are not familiar with Watchdogs, it is a video game that came out a few years back that had some really good graphics. The book itself is high-quality. New. Hard cover with sleeve, and factory sealed. Lots of very nice CG imagery in print. According to the back cover it retailed for $29.99.

Why am I telling you this?? Because there are over 14,000 Dollar Tree stores in the US and Canada. This one was the last copy they had at my local store, but it is very well possible that other stores across the country are selling them too. (I also picked up a nice Sopranos book for 1$, although that one isn't CG related.)

Anyway, just thought I'd share. I was unaware that Dollar Tree had a "book section" (it was just at the end of one aisle), but I was surprised by the quality of some of the books there. Perhaps next time you drive by one, you can stop in and see if they have a copy if you are interested.

(If this violates some sort of Renderosity TOS I apologize. I don't believe this would be considered a competing product to anything here though.)

No, there's no TOS problem with this. Congratulations on your lucky find.
