Presuming they are in a proper runtime structure, I use 7-zip. I select the files, right click and there is an option to extract with 7-zip, and browse to the destination folder in the dialogue that pops up.
The only caveat is that everybody and their brother calls their readme files 'readme.txt'...

Can you select all zips in the source folder, select "extract," identify the target folder, and it will extract zip after zip to that folder, without interaction?
Up to a point. You may be asked if you want Readme.txt to replace the existing Readme.txt. If you then select "Replace All" it will carry on without more intervention. Unless, of course, there's another filename conflict later on.

Ok ....
I used 7-zip as suggested by WandW https://www.7-zip.org/
It worked.
I had to babysit it, because occasionally it encountered a zip that needed a password. At first I just stopped it and tried to get rid of the offensive zip (Apollo!), but then I figured out you can just type anything in and it will resume.
I fibbed when I said 150 zips,
I had 3,000 zips! (plenty of duplicates, which just got over-written)
All those that were not actually Poser content, or that had an offending structure (the first level inside the zip has to have the runtime folder) unzipped okay, but ended up by themselves outside the Poser destination runtime, and then you can put THEM in a folder and unzip into the destination.
So now I have a runtime I labeled "Massive."
Thanks everyone.

semidieu's advanced library manager used to be able to install the zips into poser, but it was sold at rdna and is no longer available.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

Did someone ever write/discover how to do this in an automated way: after establishing/designating a new runtime folder, put a lot of zipped content into another folder, and trigger an auto install of all the zips into the new runtime with default structure?
Any link or comment welcome,
