I'm no expert on this sort of question, but I've always believed that you're paying for the "use" of the product, be it software, or something to use with the software, and the only "owner" is the company/person(s) who created the software, or product being used with the software.

I know the estate attorney involved is looking into it as he feels it violates New York State law.... It will be interesting to see what develops...... When I read the terms of use it also seems questionable that you can have a product on more than one computer regardless of how many computers you own...
I also read the TOU that way. If you have a home network and have it set up to access the one Runtime from both computers, that's not the same as having the product installed on both computers.
Then again, some software companies get antsy when you have their software being used on more than one computer at a time, so maybe not doable, depending on the software, and whether it "phones home" all the time.

Strange question but..... can a person leave the various Daz, Renderosity and other products to someone when they die??? Is the product theirs to give away??? (at death)
