I have noticed even after the latest update PP Pro 11 still crashes when I use the "Delete Lights" script! Anyone else having this problem? Cheers

This is totally illogical, but when I first installed PP11 on my new computer (a year ago) I couldn't use OpenGL without crashing Poser or my computer. After 6 or 8 months ... no problem. Sometimes it seems the program has to settle in. Does that make sense. See, totally illogical, but by the Gods it's true.

I've never had a problem with deleting lights, but I usually use it with that option some vendors include with their light sets.

I just tested with a complex light set. The official Scripts | Utility | deleteLights script works fine. As does 'Lights Toggle All On or Off' script I have. I'm running the latest fully-patched Poser 11 Pro.

I've never had a problem deleting all lights from the drop down scripts and always delete things in hierarchy, however collapsing the Universe tab, will crash poser they know about it, but basically say it always will so avoid doing this

I think they fixed the heirachy crash too :)

I have not had your particular problem, but I think a recent update has all but fried my installation of Poser Pro 11. It keeps hanging and crashes a LOT. I'm still working to document when/what causes the crash (and will report when I do), but I'm seriously thinking of uninstalling Poser and trying a fresh installation to see if that helps.

My suggestion to you is to pay attention to Windows Updates and Poser updates and start a written Crash Log so you can document your problems. Seeing everything written down (rather than trying to rely on your memory) usually helps isolate problems.

(BTW: In your case, maybe check out the version of Python you're running and see if there's an update available?)
