Subject: Does JASC Animation Shop 3 Work with .PNG files?

I could swear I've used .PNG files to create animations in JASC Animation Shop 3 before, however, just now I was trying to create an animation using .PNG files and when I loaded the files into the animation wizard and was finished all the frames were 100% black. The file itself is not all black. Am I remembering wrong and I can't use .PNG files in JASC or is there some glitch that is happening?
