As several threads here show the download system is annoying and broken.
I would have accepted that downloading freebies takes 10 tries and can not be resumed, but it is the same for paid products as well.
Unacceptable.
Please look into this.
Hosting downloads on AWS is bad by definition, but AFAIK it CAN be configured to accept download resumes for a limited time.
Your current configuration does not allow resuming of downloads at all, which, in combination with the constant timeouts and disconnects, leads to undownloadable products.
I planned to dump quite a bit of cash here over the next months, but that is off the table now.
