Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 15 1:34 am)
No news that I know of, but I'm also hoping an upgrade to Superfly is high up on the dev teams list ...

RTX is fairly new, and the Bondware team has a lot of stuff to tackle on code that Smith Micro had been neglecting for awhile... now if they incorporate a plugin for Octane, Redshift, V-Ray, or a similar RTX-ready render engine (or license RTX and incorporate it into Superfly), you might have a go at using it... but otherwise probably not.
Poser has had a plug-in for Octane Render for quite a long time, I would be using it right now if I had an Nvidia card ;)
The information available from Rendo says that the next release will only be a point upgrade to bring Poser into line with their licensing system, so it's vanishingly unlikely to happen for 11.2. Why assume that it won't happen after that though? There is work being done with Cycles right now - see the dev blog here - and Superfly is Poser's implementation of Cycles and is badly due an update.

Is there any news on RTX support in Poser? I've got this beautiful card, but I've done some experimenting and it looks like not even the Raytraced preview is using it. Seriously bummed, because it is a wonder for my other software packages that do use it. Maybe we could see some ProRender support in our future?
Thanks for any info!
