i almost upgraded with 99 dollar promotion. but it didn't come with la femme. and the download is off site. and there no word on a homme.

Are you sure you went to posersoftware.com?

Once you upgrade and receive a serial number you can then download the additional content from this page This includes around 8GBs of NEW content from the Renderosity Marketplace and of course La Femme is included! L'homme is being developed currently. It's a good idea to check the Poser OFFICIAL forum here where you can find out about more. Many other figures are also included like Dawn, Dusk, Baby Luna and the Gorilla all from HIvewire. Renderosity vendors have also very generously contributed items from their stores here to be included with this mega-content package for free!

I upgraded my Poser, and I bought some add-ons at the same time. I have LaFemme, but not 100% sure if it came with my upgrade or if it was part of an add-on. I Think it came with the upgrade. I also purchased a figure called Raffael by 3Dream. It looks like a versatile figure, but I have not had a chance to experiment yet because of the US holiday. Very happy to see the Unidwarf figure in my Poser stuff. I had purchased it from Runtime DNA, so was loading to Carrara from my archived content. Had been surprised when it did not migrate to Daz with some other RDNA stuff.

Frankly, it has been a LONG time since I tried to assemble and render a full scene in Poser. Still getting a feel for it again. Don't expect a complete render until I have had a chance to get familiar with the fitting room, etc.

Sorry, can't answer these questions. Better try the Poser forum. I don't have experience with the Poser walk designer, new or old. Haven't tried Genesis 1,2,3,8 in Poser.

Genesis doesn't belong in Poser no matter how many awkward kludges you apply.

La Femme Base comes with installation of Poser, also La Homme as a separate figure. If you want anything beyond the base figures and base morphs shell out money for the "pro" versions (lol). La Femme is very limited in versatility as it is a low/mid poly figure and can only be sculpted in higher resolution via goZ to Zbrush. It doesn't matter if you have Mudbox, Blender, or 3D Coat. It's Zbrush or low poly, or utilize Poser's native morph brush with subdivision. The haves and have nots out of the box.

AFAIK La Homme Pro has junk. I haven't looked at it. All of Blackhearted's males look like gym obsessed coke fiends that are hung over from a vigorous night of cruisin' to me. La Femme has body handles on her hooha, for those that need to animate articulated sentient vaginas I suppose. Morphs would have sufficed I think.

I think Triax can be sorta utilized in Poser through much hoop jumping. Why bother.

On a lighter note. Upgrade if you want the features that 11 pro provides, I personally like the animated joint centers/copy centers to morph features. Superfly needs work still. Bear in mind that before I purchased 11 pro I left off at Poser 8, if you have 10 pro it would be a matter for personal research or resource availability.
