My work machine is not connected to the internet and I don't want it to be. Is it going to be possible with the 11.2 upgrade to permanently install my serial/license so phoning home is not required? There was a thread in the poser forum where erogenesis was discussing the same and now I can't find it, so I apologize for asking the same question over.

You must be online to install. Currently there are 7 days that you can be "offline" before there being issues. If for some reason you require more time to be offline put in a ticket here:
