Hello I just purchased the poser 11.2 upgrade , i have used and still do version 6, pro 2010 and P8 .In poser 11.2 the preview window shows as a mesh/grids on everything loaded..i selected shaded texture and must toggle over the window and switches back and forth I am missing something..(i used poser for many years since version 3 but away for while due to some serious health issues just happy to be back) any help would be greatly appreciated. also in poser 8 my library panel shows white i can load old files/scenes and the program works just no content shows i really liked P8 and would like to keep using until i learn P11.2 thank you all for any advice

Welcome back. I hope the health problems are all behind you. I'm thinking your first problem might be with the construct. Try hiding the ground. If that doesn't help post a screenshot. They often help us see what's wrong. As far as the library, let it sit for a while. For some reason, many people are reporting the first time they load poser 11, the library is blank for up to ten minutes. It's usually the first time only.

@ RedPhantom: the OP is stating that the library problem is with Poser 8 Library, not Poser 11. It might be an indexing issue or possibly you need an Adobe Flash update which I believe Poser 8 relies on. Not sure, haven't used Poser 8 in ages.

Control G will hide the ground really quickly for ya!

Yes, Poser 8/2010 uses Air and/or Flash. Missing or outdated flash is almost certainly the reason for the blank library in P8. Poser 11 does not use flash. Coming from P8 one of the alternate starting screens may be more familiar. Make sure you've installed all the content for P11 then start a new scene. Then go to the Scenes section of the library and find "Poser 11 Environments". Load the "Poser 10 workspace". If this feels more familiar you can make this your loading screen in preferences. Edit >Preferences > Document > [Set Preferred Scene]

Is it possible that in Preview you're on Sree3D and not OpenGL realtime rendering?

No. It's the construct that the OP is referring to.

thank you all for the help I've been checking on all the items mentioned . I have enclosed two photos of how poser 11.2 loads one in mesh preview the second texture shaded, textured shaded is selected in both and the only way to see the shaded version is scroll cursor over the preview but will not maintain the view I did thanks to advice here element the constant grind on the ground plane and opening to preferred state. Again my sincere thanks this is one element I missed while away for extended time the community support in renderosity and poser community

Just resolved the poser 8 not showing library content issue...it appears poser 8 and ie. 11 don't get along I removed ie. 11 and backed to 8 then ie 9 and the libarary shows and works thank you all for your help.

Hi All Just purchased 11 have been using the program since the 90s I am not understanding the plugin for C4D I need to import into C4D version R13 is this possible? I have laser show software that plugs into R13 allowing me to pipeline frames directly to that software I need a way of moving Poser scenes into C4D these are very basic frames no real complicated stuff the scenes are converted to vector laser show frames (line art) to be projected from a laser light show projector. How can I export my poser frames to C4D where is the poser fusion plug in for C4D?
