Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 05 9:36 pm)
This is considered a bridge because it puts all users on the bondware license server. The update notifications previously came from SM...now that you are on the Bondware server, there will be notifications in the future from Bondware. The complete install is the only way to update, yes.
there are dates on the downloads page as we are not doing "version" numbers at this time.
How about the Macintosh updates? There is at least one Macintosh update, but I read that some people had problems when they applied that. Has there been a second or a third Macintosh update? I'm currently using 11.2.276, Macintosh. By the way, may I have a link to the update page so that I can check the dates? I'm assuming that if there is more than one Macintosh update, dates will be given. But, I'll be grateful if any other Macintosh users post about their experiences updating.
I'm running 11.2.307 on my MacBook (Catalina), 11.2.276 on my Mac mini (Sierra), and 11.2.289 on my iMac (Sierra).
I use Poser on the Mac mini the vast majority of the time. Not much time has been spent using it on the MacBook running macOS Catalina, but it seems to work just fine with all that I've briefly tested.

I was having niggles with the recent render cache. Samsiahaija found the fix was to update to the latest version. I checked for updates from within Poser but none was flagged. I checked the download site and,as Samsiahaija said, an updated installer was posted in early October.
I appreciate that the handover must be a fraught time but a few questions pop up. 1 why no update notification from Poser 2 is a complete install the only way to update 3 why no version number on the download page for ease of comparison 4 will a service release be issued in the future as 11.2 is considered a bridging version
Thanks in advance
