Animated and rendered with Cycles in Blender 2.8 using GPU rendering and denoising. I was able to get it down to around 20 seconds per frame, 29.97fps at 1080p HD resolution with SSS material and HDR lighting.

That was very cool. You could almost think that was indeed actually 'real world' filmed. The only thing that threw me off a bit was near the end, the pendant's rope didn't seem to hold up like the rest of it. Other than that though, wow!

Thank you very much. Looking back, I should have added some SSS to the rope material to give it a little extra realism. I think that would have made a big difference. Also the mapping was just slightly off at certain angles.
