La Femme: Commercial and Free Products that Support Her

I'm trying to restart a thread that was a sticky at the SM forum to help members keep up with the latest stuff for La Femme.

Here's my latest:

La Femme Base Makeup

This freebie is a makeup set intended for use with La Femme’s procedural SSS skin. It works in both Firefly and Superfly. You will find makeup and lipstick folders in the material library. Feel free to use this with your own freebie characters. The makeup is from Atenais’ Classic Genesis 2 set, which is licensed for commercial and free products. No hair is included.

Caveat: I don’t really understand the complexity of La Femme’s material nodes. I replicated as much as I could when I added to new textures and deleted the old, but some nodes disappeared, and you will find very slight variance in the appearance of the skin.

Here's an issue that I've run across. I don't know specifically how the content stores handle this issue, so it makes categorizing vendors somewhat problematic.

Here's a sample of what I'm talking about.

There's nothing wrong with this image except, I can't list Biscuits as a vendor for La Femme. As far as I can tell, she doesn't make hair specifically for that figure. And she doesn't seem to have a fit in the hair for that figure. Now granted, I know that hair can be resized and made to fit almost any figure, but by that logic any vendor can be listed as a vendor for La Femme if you use the Fitting Room.

Biscuits have a morph pack for LF so yes, she could be listed as a vendor for La Femme.

Yeah, that I saw. But, as you know, I deal mostly with categories. Biscuits has no hair specifically mentioning La Femme. I also don't want to sound like I' picking on Biscuits. I'm just using her as an example. I have to check on Ali, Prae, and others.

Ahhh, OK. I have a number of Biscuits hair products, and I don't recall any of them specifying a fit morph for La Femme. That said, it may be because of the V4 Skull morph for La Femme, which gives anyone with V4 hair products the option of using those hair products (even Biscuits hair) with La Femme. I have on several occasions.

She needs to start listing the skull morph as a fit for La Femme. I mean, sure I leave her off, but more importantly, Renderosity leaves her off.

No, it's a fit for La Femme. Just let people know that and how to make it work.

Yes, it's a morph for La Femme, but the morph makes La Femme's Skull shape the same as V4's, so it's really a V4 fit for the hair that's being used. It's La Femme that has to have the V4 Skull morph set. The hair being used in that case is still using a V4 fit.
