Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 15 11:01 am)
I'm at 11.2.272. Looks like a visit to the library is needed cuz my internet is slower then me getting up in the morning. I just need to update the exe file? Doing a search for the link...
Found the Poser Update Link
Photoshop was not even listed as a possible choice to look at an EXR file. It sorta kinda maybe makes sense as until you decide how to export it, it really doesn't have an extension. It's waiting for the user to decide. I'm currently downloading Krita. It looks like fun. I can't wait to see what goodies it has for me.
I took Nails60 and Rhia474's advice and downloaded the latest version. I helped my Pop fix the fence (He complained that it only lasted forty years) and then installed the latest Poser Exe and Poser Support files. It did NOT ask me for my serial number. I chose NOT to uninstall the current version and to KEEP my preferences. For the support files I simply clicked through. It works so why mess with it?
@Structure ShareCG stats. 220 downloads and 3 raters. Seriously? 217 people decide it's too much work to click a star? C'mon man!!
Much Love Rhia and thanks to Nails, Structure and Ironsoul.
He even sanded it? Much respect!
We got hit with 60 mph winds PLUS Ivy had worked it's way through the fence. Nothing is tougher than nature. We had to remove these ivy roots that were as thick as tree trunks and then learn by doing. Pop is old school and I think he enjoyed every second of learning about lumber, and treated lumber and warped wood and mixing his own cement for the posts and everything else that goes into home repair.
As for me, I'm just glad I got to work beside the old man again.
And thanks Rhia!

I had just painstakingly created a render. After the render finished, I noticed the clothes weren't the proper color, the texture was off but the poses were perfection. I mean just poifect! I just needed to make those last tweaks to change the materials, you know the drill. When our power went off for ten seconds. I restarted everything and then cursed myself for not doing the usual save scene before rendering. That's okay, I thought. At least using the completed render I can redo the poses.
The render was gone from my recent render window.
I looked in the render cache and found it. All the renders they were something called an EXR file and they looked like a muted shadow of the original file. Certainly not suited for use. (I used Windows Photo Viewer and then IRFAN photo viewing. Great for image batch file extension conversions.
I restarted Poser. It still wasn't there. I sighed, shut it down and watched a video on the infinite nature of the Universe (if it's flat it's infinite, if it's curved it's a sphere which means the Universe will eventually wrap around itself. Notebook : It's probably curved. If it was flat a cat would pushed something important off the edge).
Woke up, made coffee and restarted Poser with dreary task of recreating that perfect scene without reference.
The Render was sitting in my recent render strip along with a few other missing renders. This disappearing and reappearing of renders. Has this happened to anyone else?
