Poser Python Scripting F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Sep 18 2:50 am)
Those years were eaten by Covid. Best forgotten! ;-)
I can add that Send in the Clones also has problems on Poser 2014, and so you might have to go back to Poser 2012 to get it working. That said, I imagine that you should then be able to open the saved Poser 2012 file in Poser 11 and continue from there.

I was just looking at the installer scripts, which I bought when DAZ had a good sale a few years back, and which I couldn't get running in Poser 2014 or 11. I see a legacy and a "P9" version, which should mean Poser 9 / Poser Pro 2012.

I finally got around to digging out Poser Pro 2012 with SR3 (64-bit) and then tested with the relevant 'Send in the Clones' script version. Still no good there, even when running Poser in Administrator mode. Instant total crash of Poser. Perhaps it works in 32-bit? Or perhaps the Python simply doesn't align any more. Looks like you'd have to go further back, to Poser Pro 2010 (aka Poser 8) or even Poser 7. The documentation says it runs back to Poser 7.

Hello. Yesterday, I bought the Send in the Clones for Poser product at Daz Studio while it was on sale; https://www.daz3d.com/send-in-the-clones-for-poser. It is an old product.
After much experimenting, I was able to get the Clone scripts into the right directory so that they showed in Poser Pro 11.2 via the Scripts menu. However, I cannot get the scripts to do anything. Has anyone attempted to use this product or know whether it works in Poser 11?
The vendor, Draagon Storm, provided no documentation with the product and, based on what I learned in a Daz Studio forum, died two years ago. The only documentation that I could find is a YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNQqdIcDX-U) on using the product that the vendor uploaded in 2010. The vendor created the same product for Daz Studio 3 and 4.
