ray dream sounds prettier

searching for carrara tutorials has hits from marble quarries mixed in,

mebbe a developer company will recognize the ray dream, dream and try to resurrect it

after looking at renderman, feeling a renewed appreciation for carrara shader room. shader room without plugs and wires is much neater looking and more intuitive to navigate.

plugs and wires graphics is awful waste of monitor real estate

they could call it whatever they wanted

as long as they developed it

I had the same reaction to Blackmagic Fusion Video Effects, which I won here at Rendo. A typical screen looks like this:

My favorite effects program is Particle Illusion, a typical screen looks like this:

You basically grab an effect and move it around as the timeline moves. Way more intuitive.

I had the same thought. I really believed Daz would keep developing Carrara, all the way up till Gen 8 hit. Then I knew it was over.

Luckily, there are tons of items for Gen 1-6 available, with new items STILL coming out for Gen 4. Add to that a lot of the DUF props work in C8.5, I'm going to use Carrara for. LONG time.

I could be wrong, but I doubt Bondware is in position to develop Carrara. I think they have their hands full with Poser and related products.
