  1. If you can't find a file for your newly installed content, check the readme. Sometimes vendors use the product name, sometimes they use their name, sometimes they use something else entirely. If you can't find what you're looking for, check the readme to see if they explained their naming conventions so you can find the props you're looking for..

really makes things difficult for the end user . if things are too confusing I shy away from purchasing from those vendors. same problem with the vendors over at daz. I ended up creating a fake runtime to show "installers". I then can remove products that I no longer want, without guessing what name did they use and not rely on uninstallers guessing where the files might be

True. I have to create my own annotations to trace which asset refers to which and who created it.

I find I don't have any problems except with clothing add on texture sets. On those with some vendors you actually have to go back to the product page to find out what clothes the textures are for. They really, really really ought to go in the same sub-directory as the clothes themselves guys. If you don't do that at least indicate somewhere in the path or filenames what the clothing is.

I sometimes add my own information to the product name or folder. On occasion I run the risk of creating duplicates if i re-install something. But then I delete one of the things or just live with it. I don't re-install things too often.
