The default runtime for all purchased downloads is Purchases. You have no option to select any other runtime of your choice.
That really is one enormous bag of wank. Imagine if - perish the thought - you'd organized your Runtimes for specific figures, or similar, then this idiotic restriction puts all your new stuff in Purchases, no matter what. I repeat, an enormous bag of wank.

This is why I ALWAYS manually install, and will continue to do so.

The purchases folder serves well as a sandbox. You can install and test there, and easily un-install if you do not like the product, make the changes you like, combine with options.
Once completed and at your liking, you can move the stuff easily to where you want it via copy or move and leave the purchases space open for your next purchase.
That's a valid point however if you are new to Poser, make multiple purchases and install in one mass download, you will have a tough time trying to sort out the mess. To be perfectly honest some sort of tutorial guidance should be posted to help new users move through this process efficiently. Some individuals will not notice the extra builtin runtime and will complain that their purchase content is nowhere to be found.

I agree. Someone else posted their concerns about this and I checked the software for options. There were none. I'll stick to just downloading manually like Miss B. At least I can examine the goods before delegating it into its appropriate runtime.

With the new purchases tab do I get an option where to install my content or does it go to the default directory? Cheers
