Subject: Remove Animation but keep last frame

Drai ( ) posted Wed, 06 May 2020 at 10:06 AM · edited Sun, 16 February 2025 at 11:39 PM

I need some help on this issue and would appreciate any I can get from this community. I recently built a set but did not notice that I was in frame 30 when moving everything into place. Now I have an animation from frame 1 to 30, which I don't need. All I need is frame 30. How can I delete all the previous frames and keep the last one with all objects set in place? Thanks!

Just to clarify, you are in Frame 30 of 30 on the Animation Controls when you built your set. And I am assuming you want to save either the set or the scene into your Library. Did you actually run an animation? Technically, if no animation was run, you should be able to just reset the counter to 1 and nothing will change your set up.

I make this mistake often, and there's an easy fix.

Go to frame 30. Hit Edit: Memorize All.

Go back to frame 1. Hit Edit: Restore All.

Set the top frame number to 1.

Then you can start increasing the frames and animating again.

There was no mention of an active animation performed. That needs to be clarified also.
