Subject: Reflection question

RAMWorks ( ) posted Thu, 03 September 2020 at 12:56 PM · edited Sun, 29 December 2024 at 6:47 PM

Hi,

I wanted to know if there is a way to have a figured posed, lit and rendered with a ground floor reflection but not have the main ground floor render out (edges) but just have the reflection on the floor showing in the saved out render? I wanted to do individual renders and drop them into a pre rendered backdrop so it looks like the scene is populated with more than one character.

Thanks so much Richard

I would have a transparency map applied to a floor prop. make the construct no visable. This could at least limit the rendered area of the floor. Fade the edges so it isn't stark.

Thanks Boni I have it done. Only had to do ONE flip and erase trick on the guy that's furthest from the group, leaning against the wall grabbing his crotch! LOL
