Subject: Uninstalling Poser 11

Now that I put the serial number into my Poser 12 upgrade, my python script collection is GONE. It's nowhere to be found on my computer. Some of those scripts were very useful . . .

I'd wondered about backward compatibility, given some of the promo blurbs I've read.

The worst part is that Virtual World Dynamics will load, but it won't work.

Ugh! I'm wishing I hadn't done the upgrade right now . . .

Well both P11 and P12 works side by side so no need to uninstall P11.

They warned that Poser 12 was a work in progress, and that old Python scripts wouldn't work.

They are working on updating some Python scripts, but in the meantime...do not uninstall Poser 11. You should be able to use both.

If you actually uninstalled Poser 11, re-install it.

Don't uninstall poser 11 just yet.. Poser 12 is still very much in early access as far as what I can tell

Keep 11 and use scripts from there. I have 2014, 11 and 12 living side by side and sharing runtimes, but Pythons always live separately in the Program Files section of each Poser install .

This is a bit of a mix-up on my part. I can't find P11 in Windows Explorer, and I can't find its runtime, either. However, the program IS still on my computer and still works. Odd. I don't know why . . .
