Subject: I broke it. Can't dock main window

Well I accidentally dragged the main window in the pose room and it undocked...I have been trying all day to get it to dock back in the center. It wants to go everywhere but...long skinny window along the to or bottom, along the sides...just not in the center. Even tried closing all other windows and it still won't dock properly. Too much drag docking attempts results in multiple crashes...currently reinstalling.

Once you are done, head over your profile folder. Under Windows, simply jump to %appdata% using the file epxlorer. You will find a folder called "Poser", containing another one: "12". Find a file called something like "Poser UI Prefs_0000x0000.xml" (replace the 0000 by your screen definition), in my case it's called "Poser UI Prefs_1920x1080.xml". UI accidents may happen, so make a copy of it in the same folder. I do because my Poser takes control of 2 screens in the Poser room and 3 in the Mat room, and I hate when it happens.

Then backup the whole folder elsewhere on your PC. That saved me more than once.

me too. There was no better way than reinstalling.

Then I wonder if deleting the file (or at least renaming it) couldn't solve the problem?

Deleting the file does work.

I wish there were a way to lock the palettes where they are, so you can't accidentally move them.

Online Now!

A lock button would be nice, I think it was requested numerous times.
