That improved FBX support we were promised ? How does P_12 fare compared to PP_11.3 ??
I ask again as recent comments in other threads imply improvements are for Poser_12 FBX export to other modelling programs, not for import.
Given there seem to be three (3) major flavours of FBX rigs, but P_11 importer only groks the oldest, most formal one, I'm concerned...

That improved FBX support we were promised ? How does P_12 fare compared to PP_11.3 ??
I've a zoo of FBX figures and conversions that 'lost their tree' at import to PP_11.3, appear in Hierarchy as 'many' figures, each with partial trees. Almost impracticable to pose. Often sadly splat. Generally, the later the model's FBX version since PP_11.3's v6.1 sweet-spot, the more mangled the import.
With one (1) honourable exception, a v7.4 figure with full IK rig. It was totally okay, but I nearly fell off my chair...
So, what's the FBX experience of the P_12 users so far ? Game figure rips ? MakeHuman 1.20 (final) figs ? Daz exports etc etc ??
( I'll need a few more weeks to re-stock my P_11 upgrade fund, which was raided for 'domestic stuff' while I shunned those P_12 'beta releases'. Yeah, I'm in NW UK, where flagrant COVIDiocy triggered another local lock-down... )
