This figure is inspired by a 1980s plastic model kit. The basic shell reminds me of a horseshoe crab. Some early views:

The plastic kit had lots of detail, exploited by kit-bashers that will be emulated in the figure.

The searchlight, antennae, and laser cannon will be adjustable and the hatches will open.

The original kit was for a remote-controlled or autonomous hovercraft, but one of the kit-bashed versions accommodated crew with a driver station. There's also a side hatch into the tank.

Here are a couple of toon views of the final mesh, ready for Poser rigging. The second one is a rough material test with a camouflage texture.

Finishing up a complex accessory. The basic figure will be called Polyphemus, mostly from the scientific name for the Atlantic horseshoe crab, but also for the one-eyed look of the searchlight. There will be an alternate turret version inspired by a kit-bashed plastic model kit that incorporated a Gepard tank turret.

Alternate turret is rigged and has one texture set.

Just a few more odds and ends, then kitting to do. There will be an option to use Cybertenko's T-34 turrets.
