Subject: Parented not following scaling?

RAMWorks ( ) posted Sun, 25 April 2021 at 2:50 PM · edited Sat, 30 November 2024 at 5:05 AM

Hi,

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I can't remember! If I parent say a piece of jewelry to a figure (Dusk in this case) is there a way to have it scale with the figure? I've applied my Tommy morph to Dusk and the piece isn't scaling.

If not I guess there is no way to make that happen then unless I make it a conformer?

Thanks for the assist!

Richard

Is the prop a smart prop? I don't know if a smart prop will automatically scale when applied.

Not sure how to create a smart prop. I have it parented to the figure and saved it out as such but it comes back in unparented so not sure how to correct that.

Got the smart prop question answered. You don't CHOOSE the "Select Subset" button, leave that alone. THEN it asks you if you want to make a smart prop. The auto scaling still doesn't work but the auto parent does now so that's something at least!
