Carrara UI was totally messed up and clip wouldn't even work to snap a picture, sooooooooooo

I went to power restart ?‍♀️

biiiiig mistake, ?

my Computer is stuck preparing Windows

for What? a damned casket?..

now hours later just doing the endless loading circle

I was going to do some Carrara Octane rendering tonight before Microsux hosed my Win10.

am bumming around in DAZ studio Filament on my Win 7 at the moment, bought a stupid standbased dforce hair thats useless for anything else (even iray with my hardware) Carrara loads it as bloody vertex points that you only see in the vertex room, ass room it's invisible, wish we could fix that.

Sorry that happened to you Wendy I've been trapped at build 1510 for years. Horror stories like this make me glad of that!

I have managed to abort it, (about 5 hours in stuck on a circle spin) always risky hard restarting during an update but the do not power off your machine message hadn't appeared yet and after restarting the update was 0% downloaded so I postponed it, hopefully by the time it comes again the bugs will be ironed out.?
