Virtual World Dynamics F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 4:26 pm)
Hello, if you want to shrink an outfit, the best way is to use the Scale value into Forces and Springs tab (in %). Select the vertices corresponding to the part of the cloth you want to shrink, select the direction of the shrinkage (Horizontal, vertical or both). Then, I suggest you to use a simulation without parallelism and without inertia. The deformation will be done slowly but precisely.

Wow. That's cool! I've been turning the clothing into a prop, but not parenting it. Then scale it to be too tight (smaller than the figure it's to be fit to) and then use VWD to fit the clothes.
I like Gerald's solution much better! Can't wait to try it!

So I've recently been using Marvelous Designer and with it's shrinkage it's much easier but the process is much longer than just using VWD. So I was wondering anyone knows a way to shrink fit the clothing like possible in MD. (I've been messing with Forces and Springs just want to know if anyone else has been messing with this.)
