Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 21 1:30 pm)
Hi Don If you use martins poser maconvertor utility you can delete the texture references in a pz3 file, reopen the file in poser and reapply the final texture choice. There is no way I know of deleting files in the texture windows list short of quitting poser and launching it again. The texture files are only referenced in the pz3 files by their directory pathnames so they don't add to the size of the files. Hope this helps wander wander@ilap.com

I have noticed that texture files remain embedded in a pz3 file after closing and reopening. Often I try several textures before settling on one, so I end up loading the Textures window with a long list, which becomes irritating. How can they be removed? Do they add to the size of a saved file? If so, deleting them can reduce file size. This can also create broken links with deleted textures. I am on a Mac, OS8, 250 Mhz, 126 Mg RAM. Don
