Content Advisory! This message contains nudity

Nana, the chibi toon figure at DAZ. Oddly, the swimsuit that comes with her fits, but none of the clothing in her clothing packs does.

(Seems a little silly to check the nudity flag when she's got nothing to show, but just to be safe.)

I've found Copy Joint Zones fixes it, but I'm curious as to why this problem exists in the first place. Apparently, it works fine in DAZ Studio. But I believe this product was created for Poser, and I've never had a problem like this with DAZ items before.

(I did ask about it at DAZ, but I'm not really expecting an answer.)

Well, someone over at DAZ said Poser changed the way things conform in new versions. I had never heard that. He recommended ticking "Match end points" on the properties tab.
