Welcome to the Poser Forums! Need help with these versions, advice on upgrading? Etc...you've arrived at the right place!

It says this under Firefly Rendering in the Poser 12 manual:
Multi-threaded Rendering: The Multi-threaded Rendering feature takes advantage of the increased processing power of the multi-processor or multi-core computer systems that are now available. Using this feature, you can configure FireFly to render any number of separate threads simultaneously, which results in reduced render times for most renders. The number of threads can be specified in the General Preferences dialog (see Render Preferences for more information).
But when I go to General Preferences/Render/Number of threads, it only goes to 32.

So, I’m looking to upgrade my render rig, and I’m making sure I don’t buy a new CPU I don’t need. All of my existing Poser content is in Firefly and I’ve not had good luck converting to Superfly. Is Poser 12 still limited to 32 threads in the Firefly engine, or can it go higher? My current system doesn’t have enough cores for that to matter, but I’d like to change that.
Thanks.
(Most of my recent work has been in DS, but I have fans asking for a return of some of my old V4/G4 models.)
