I'm posting mostly to see if other animators can reproduce and benefit from these results.
My observations:
Sending to render Queue, I get around 2.5 frames per min.
Rendering in Poser is slightly faster at around 2.75 frames per min.
5+ frames per min. The Poser tasks finish faster so there's a delay waiting for the Queue tasks to finish.
GPU temps seem steady at around 44c. running both render tasks. GPU usage averages around 25%, intermittent spikes to around 90% (RTX 3060 12gb)
I haven't noticed much if any impact on CPU(R9 5950X), Memory usage seems normal as well(64gb DDR4 3600)
The only downside I see is that you cant continue working in Poser while rendering, which isn't really a downside for me because I usually render while I'm sleeping.
Here's my setup:
I send this to Queue.
