Welcome to the Poser Forums! Need help with these versions, advice on upgrading? Etc...you've arrived at the right place!

Dynamic hair (strand-based) is not a cloth room item. That you use the hair room for. For the clothing, your best bet would be to set up 2 simulations. You can clothify them both with the same simulation, but collisions between the 2 pieces might not work well. The hair should load ready to sim. You just need to turn on collisions for your figure and clothing and the general collisions. You can then go to animation>recalculate dynamics>All and your computer will run all the simulations in the scene. Warning: this will do ALL simulations for every figure so if you have some others already done you might not want to use that. You can then go have a cup of coffee, possibly in the next city.
For coth simulations, the default dynamic controls usually aren't bad. To change then would depend on what fabric you're simulating. I usually check all three boxes in the cloth simulation setting pop-up window. In the collide against... popup I usually set the collation offset and depth both to 0.1. If you have multiple layers of cloth (such as an overskirt over an underskirt) You need to have the offset and depth of the inner layer (like the underskirt) be larger than that of the outer layer for anything outside the clothing (like a chair) and you want that simulation to run first so set it up first. Usually, work from inside to outside.
in this one, the blue skirt needed a higher number than the white one when colliding with his pants and boots.

I use Poser 13 and win 10
It's best to do each sim separately, at least at first. There will likely be things you want to adjust, and it's quicker and easier to do that if you're running one sim at a time.
Go from inner to outer. If your top overlaps the pants, do the pants first, then the top.
I would do the hair first, just because hair is more likely to have memory issues. The less stuff in the scene, the better. Also, I increase the hair density for the final render (without running the sim again). The results aren't any better if you run the sim at high density, it just takes a lot longer.
If you're not familiar with the cloth room, using the default settings is a good start. I usually reduce the collision depth and collision offset a bit, maybe to .4 or .5.
For this walk cycle, I ran the hair sim first, then ran the cloth sim.

I am wanting to render an animation of a La Femme Pro Figure walking with dynamic hair, two piece clothing top and bottom. Can I include all three items in the cloth room for simulation at the same time? If so can anyone suggest settings as I have never used Poser 12 with the cloth room! Cheers
