Subject: Moving to an object's next / previous material ??

Wrangling ported scenes and imported FBX figures, they often have many materials.

Although some materials may share and call the same texture / texture set, the material list may run far, far beyond a single screen of ~30 items.

So, PP_11 struggles, forcing you to grab the so-tiny scroll-arrow at bottom of list window, scroll down. For each and every such beyond that initial ~30.

For 40~50, annoying. For 60~~70, exasperating. For 80~~120, 135, unto 150, utterly infuriating...

Okay, if you're lucky, you may click into preview window to hop to a specific material zone. Handy for applying transparency map to stray 'flats'.

But, if you're working through an object's many materials, eg setting an FBX's transparencies from default 0% to 100%, this does not work well.

I've searched the 'reference card' and the PDF '11.3' reference manual, found no apparent way to either page up/down in list, or sorta-TAB to previous / next material without scrolling that stupid list, yet again, yet again, yet again...

Have I missed some utterly obvious short-cut ??

If not, please add to wish-list...

Nope, no obvious solution is available.  You could delegate the job to a third-party application but I don't know how much easier it would be.  Nevermind regrouping the model with new material zones.
