Subject: Updating Serial Number Problem

I use Poser 6 since ages. It annoys me with permanent random glitches (I suspect my CD was faulty) and somewhen I bought a P6-to-P9 update from a German vendor (Egisys, I think, which long went to the bit cemetary). I don't remember getting a new serial then, and I successfully upgraded ages ago, but never used it since the P6 dir was so overloaded with content that migrating would be a hassle. (I deleted the P9 and don't remember the installation details.)

I have another computer now, and want to install P9 there after all, but, the registration seemingly wanted a "fresh" P9 serial, the "upgrade" serial field was grayed out. So maybe I must "point" the P9 installer (German, 991312kB) to the old P6? But how?
