Does anyone know how to operate the wind Force Tool? I have made a Heavy Sea with the Wave Tool and I now want to add wind. Cheers

Lesson 17: Forces and Dynamics for Stills (renderosity.com)

Link to a video on using a lot of the tools including Wind Force.  At just after the 10 minute mark it starts to talk about the Wind Force controls.

Wind force is pretty easy and straightforward.

The main stumbling block, and one I really wish they would change: when you create a wind force object, it comes in with a ridiculously short range. Like 0.1. That means that the wind won't affect your scene. So people try it, it doesn't work, and they give up. When all they need to do is adjust the range in parameter dials. Make sure it's long enough to actually reach your dynamic hair or clothing (whatever you want to blow around).
