i went thru my wishlist in search for clearance products - because they might disappear from the shop, obvs. even if there are other cheaper wishlist items i could pick right now.

and i got a little surprised at the high price of 1 item. normal price  24.95  , actual price today with the 50% wishlist sale is 12.47  , BUT THIS ITEM IS ALSO ON CLEARANCE. what i mean is the 50% active, does it override the clearance in the rendo system? unless the 12.47  IS the normal clearance price, which i think is very high... isn't clearance supposed to be super cheap? or just 60% (rings a bell...) of the normal price?
so what is actually happening? would it be smarter to wait until the sale is over to get this product at a "normal" clearance price?  or is this price never going to get any lower, possibly even higher after the wishlist sale, so i should get it now?

hmm.. seems this has already been discussed way too many times before in the forums, the issue is apparently problematic for many people - but even i read some posts, i still don't know what i'm supposed to do. i'm not familiar with clearance at all, because most of my wishlist's stuff isn't in clearance, and the few times i bought sth from clearance quite a while ago like 3-4 years i think, i was still prime member, so i guess it's also probably why i have the illusion "clearance items are supercheap", but somewhere i just read sth about 25%. no idea, i don't grasp the clearance price logic at all, be it during sales or not...

this sale is over tomorrow - so question is, will those clearance items cost more or less after the 50% sale? is it wise or stupid to wait until after the sale? i only have a few $ left in GC, every cent counts for me. next xmas (gifts) is far away..

Clearance items are 35% off all the time. So the 50% off would be more of a discount.
