Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 09 3:34 pm)
You might want to look at this and ask the author to possibility expand it to rotate the texture also.
Poser 5, 6, 7, 8, Poser Pro 9 (2012), 10 (2014), 11, 12, 13
As always, I vote for Linux support in Poser 14.

I know I am late to the Poser 13 party, so here are two wishes for Poser 14 - or for anyone handy with Python explorations of the Poser innards - if that is possible.
I have for a long time been annoyed at the lack of credibility of using seamless textures in Superfly - both the Poser, Cycles or Physical material setups. Even the best seamless textures comes out in tiles if they are used on a large enough surface. As a solution I have seen several add-ons to Blender, which perform 'Texture Bombing' through rotation and tweaking of the texture blocs to make the borders a lot less visible. That I would love to see implemented in Poser.
If it is possible to acheive the same in the current versions of Poser (Including P13) by going behind the curtains,as it were and applying some clever Python work, I'd happily pay for the pleasure. But I have a strong feeling that this is asking for more than the current version can deliver.
It might even be more than P14 can do, and that leads to the next wish: A proper export bridge between Poser and Blender. With such a bridge it would be possible to use the Blender texture bombing to finalize the offending textures.
Ideally such a bridge should convert the Poser Cycles textures to Blender ones, so the tweaking job would be limited. This one I guess is a job for the Poser Dev Team.
Maybe I'm asking foir pie in the sky, but for the moment I'm not letting that stop me ;-)
