Subject: Daz scene in Poser

Hello

is there a way to render a daz scene in poser? I mean a scene with characters. I tried a tutorial on youtube with a daz scene exported as a collada file, but these are buildings only. May characters imported beautiful, but the poses where gone and so thescene was useless.

I only want to do this for the cartoon render.

I use a "trick" to render in Octane by exporting to OBJ. I set up the scene and characters in groups so I can turn them on and off. So if I have a scene change or character pose change I can just hide everything except the group I want to export as OBJ and reload it in Octane. Maybe you can do something similar in Poser but use import as morphs instead if you need to change poses or the scene. You can of course not add or delete anything in the groups as it will change the vertices and then morphs will not work.

Oh, this is a great idea! I'll try to import as an object. I don't need to change anythingon the scene. I only want to use the comic style feature, because it's much better than anything else I tried. Thank you very much for your input!

I did it niw and it works fine. The only problem are the textures. I have to assign every single part of the texture, because Poser doesn't find them. Is there any trick also?

Hi, try unchecking "quote paths", I've just tested it and it works for me! See below, in file/export / (choose to Poser than show individual settings):
