Yes, it's a collision object and I moved the amplitude up to max ..... Nothing.
I've now set up a new test scene with different cloth objects to test it out, and again nothing. I don't get it to work, the cloth simulation is not at all changed by the forcefield. Very weird!
It's Poser 13 on a Mac, btw.
The announcement said this "Barring any necessary service releases, this version likely marks the last of version 13 as the team turns their sights towards version 14 in the new year. " Which to me sounds like they may still fix bugs, but not add any new features. I could be wrong though.

I'm working for some time with Poser now, but have never used the wind forcefield. But now I want to do a cloth simulation that definitely needs some wind, but it's not working at all. I tried several parameters, very high and low Amplitudes and Range factors, different spread angles, different turbulence-factors .... but nothing. The cloth simulation is always the same, there is completely no effect from the forcefield.
My understanding of this was, that I've nothing else to do, then placing the forcefield in the chosen location, select the direction and the parameters and then it should influence the cloth simulation .... but it doesn't!
Do I miss something?
Many thanks!
