THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: .Vob converted to...anything else? - (help)

Just curious, I have seen a few things in the freestuff, under Vue, that I like (models), is there any program that will take a .vob model and export it to any kind of other 3d file format that Bryce can import? Or, am I stuck having to get Vue to do just that? Will the free Vue 3 demo do it? Not desperate, just wondering. AgentSmith

You can go to http://www.xdsoft.com/explorer/ and get a conversion program there. Don't know if it will work for you or not. I just got a free license from Vue on version 2. Don't recall the url, but it came by email from the company after signing up for the version 2 download. Haven't loaded it yet so I don't know if it will export into something other than the native file. Version 3 demo won't export.

Yeah, but X-Dimension was aquired by Right Hemisphere. That program is called 3D Exploration, it imports a lot...but not .vob's. And, the models I wanted to export into another file format were created with Vue 3, so they would not be compatible with Vue 2. Thanks anyway! AgentSmith
