The Carnival ends today, and the Swimsuit contest begins. So, put the cotton candy away, grab some sunscreen, and meet us at the beach.

Thanks for participating in Carnival, I hope you enjoyed yourself. It will take me a couple days to sort out the winners and send prizes. As a side-note, only one person guessed one tier of the marble game. Crazy, there were guesses all around the correct numbers, but never right on. Just as a note, those were not an A.I. picture of marbles, they were real. I got the marbles from Amazon and put them in a candy bowl.

So, on to the Swimsuit contest. Please read the rules before you submit, I don't get a kick out of rejecting entries for something that could have been easily avoided. If you have any questions, sitemail me or Redphantom.

Wow! That marble game was certainly harder than I expected! Really fun though and nice work on those real images :)

There's a story behind those three images. I built a wall from some bricks I have for setting up photo's like that. I had just finished the first photo and turned around to set the camera down when the wall decided to topple over. The mason jar broke, marbles went everywhere. I never found them all. They're still showing up now and then. So, then I needed a second jar, but I didn't have another mason jar. I found the bowl, rebuilt the wall, and got the second photo, but the wall was still too wobbly, so I decided I was done with the wall. Ann is into making wreaths, like for doors on holidays, so I took the bowl into her studio and used her plastic flowers to make the third background. I don't want to do any more photos for a while.
