Subject: How do I make grid lines

I am trieing to get grid lines in photoshop 6 (on the actual pic instead of just guide lines). I can't rember how to use the pattern thing and was woundering if anyone could help me. Thanks

Thanks. That refreshes my memory. I have a different way of doing it though but you got me started by reminding me the basices like Fill etc. Thanks
