Don't purchase yet, Boni. There is no cloth room, and there is no new content. The 'upgraded' features as explained don’t wardant immediate purchase. Bringing back the simple material room and two updated Cycles shaders aren’t worth almost 200 bucks right before Christmas.
I am very curious about the official stance on Cloth room replacement, as stripping it out is guaranteed to cost them vendors and customers both, especially without offering alternatives and/or timeline. As hborre says, the community is... unhappy.

In my opinion, they should have kept it in (with an advisory) and then added it in to one of the updates once they found something. Removing a popular feature and THEN updating it sometime in the nebulous future was bound to cause a fuss.I believe the company needs time to find an opensource version of the cloth room that suits the software. Just needs a bit of time waiting for this to happen.
It's a bit like suddenly taking out the handbrake for your car and promising a newer, better version in the next update. Or next model. Or two.
Everything appears normal there. How are you creating folders and adding content?hborre posted at 9:16 PM Sat, 29 November 2025 - #4501834
I can't create new folders in the Favorites list, let alone actually put items in the list. Also, the Bullet Physics appears to be broken. I will be submitting a ticket.

I have ADHD. I need things made into lists to see the full value. Could someone please list all the upgrades inside Poser 14 so can make well informed choice. I am a loyal user. It is just nice to know.
Sincerely
