When it comes to the great evils of the 20th century, I would have to put the internet right under hitler. The other day I was talking to a coworker about how it's possible to find everything about a person on the web, including birth cirtificates and social security numbers. She denied that this was possible and said that no one could find anything out about her because she was in the witness protection program. After about a half hour of seaching I showed her that I had found her name, adress, soc number, phone number, and the scariest part was I even found the paper that said when she changed her name, and what it had been changed to. Even I have felt the burn of the internet. I work at a tv station and one of the shows I work on is a music show for local bands. I was crusin the net the other day and found a show I directed on the net. It enfuriated me. I think the internet is out of control. To use a line from Jurassic Park, "People were so fast to se whether or not they could, they didn't stop to ask if they should."

Could you please give me your rough estimate of how many innocent children have been herded into camps, starved and then incinerated in ovens by the web??? The internet is a communications medium that is being abused By the same unscrupulous types of people that would put Illegal wiretaps on your telephone or bribe a records clerk at the social security office to get your social security# or break into a records depository at night to steal valuable information. etc. etc. Can We PLEASE!! not start another round of ridiculous and frankly INSULTING comparisons between modernday computer crooks and the satanic evil that was NAZI germany!!! Mocap
