Subject: Posing Problem with saving the position

I think I used to know this but have forgotten the answer (it has been a while since I made any poses) so if anyone can help, thanks in advance. I am trying to create a pose in which the model is lying flat on her belly on the ground. As part of the positioning to create the pose I have to rotate the model and drop it to the ground. When I save the pose everything is fine. However, when I go to re-apply it, the pose comes through all right but the model is rotated back perpendicular to the ground and up in the air. I know I have forgotten something, but what? This is driving me nuts. STORM

Turn off IK for the legs, and position the figure with the hip, not the body, then save the pose. That should do the trick.

The hip positioning! I knew I had forgotten something. It's always the smaller details that trip me up. Thanks a lot for the help wyrwulf. STORM
